Experimental Electronic Music Hits Rowan County - Fantom Hands

FANTOM HANDS

There’s a lot to think about when it comes to the future of music, and local residents Fantom Hands (misspelled for image coolness, of course) have taken it upon themselves to help pioneer the electronic music circuit (ha!), especially right here in NC.

The band has been offered to play live with a few other electronic and experimental rock bands from Charlotte, Greensboro, and even Tennessee. The only real issue is that Salisbury itself isn’t exactly the biggest music scene in general, so gigs are hard to come by for the band. If you think you can help them out let them know. They will be playing their quieter and more relaxing pop material in what they call warmup shows at Tastebuds in the upcoming weeks to help them get ready to start jamming really loudly at actual venues.

“While not everyone will be able to dig every aspect of our music, we’d at least like to think people were entertained by a few sounds, the general goofyness, and the lights we’ll have going while we play. ”

They already have new equipment and lights coming in. With your help it won’t be too long before you can feel the noisy groove right here in Salisbury. You will at least be able to say you haven’t experienced much like it before.
